Meet Letha Costin - Your College Readiness Coach

College planning is an introspective and experiential journey. Whether Letha is helping a student explore careers and majors or conducting a mock interview to prepare for a scholarship competition, she strives to provide guidance that will empower students to realize their college dreams. Students often find their own writing voice in her “Make Your Essay Make A Difference” workshop, providing students with a valuable skill set through college and beyond. Getting into “the right college for the right reasons” can help pave the road to success.

Letha began her formal education studying Psychology and English. After a few years in the counseling field, she shifted gears and entered the world of telecommunications. It wasn’t long before she acquired a training position within a major corporation writing technical manuals and teaching materials to both domestic & international non-technical employees.

In 1996, she blended her passion for writing with her love of music. She and her husband Miles joined an acoustic trio (though neither quit their day job) and enjoyed performing on weekends. To date, they’ve won 1st Place in several nationwide songwriting contests including: VH1 Song of the Year, NC Songwriters & MerleFest’s Chris Austin Songwriters.
